Proton e.MAS Nationwide Roadshow Continues in East Coast & Klang Valley

PRO-NET, a wholly owned subsidiary of PROTON Holdings Berhad, continues its nationwide Proton e.MAS roadshow series with upcoming stops at East Coast Mall, Kuantan from 24 to 28 June 2026 and Sunway Pyramid, Subang Jaya from 1 to 5 July 2026.

Building on strong momentum from earlier roadshow locations, Proton e.MAS continues to bring its growing electrified line-up closer to Malaysians nationwide, meeting Malaysians where they are. This reflects the brand’s commitment to making electric mobility more accessible, practical, and relevant to everyday lifestyles.

“Our nationwide roadshow is about bringing Proton e.MAS closer to Malaysians, allowing them to experience our vehicles in a more accessible and familiar environment. We kicked off in April, visiting Penang and Melaka, and now it’s time to head to Pahang and Selangor. As Malaysia’s No.1 EV brand, we remain focused on making EV ownership more approachable through continuous engagement, strong dealer support, and solutions that meet daily driving needs.” said Pn. Salawati Binti Mohd Yusoff, Chief Branding Officer of PRO-NET.

“From first-time EV explorers to those ready to make the switch, these engagements play an important role in building consumer confidence in electric mobility,” she added.

Proton e.MAS Nationwide Roadshow Hits East Coast Mall, Kuantan
From 24 to 28 June, visitors to East Coast Mall, Kuantan (Centre Court) can experience the Proton e.MAS line-up, including the Proton e.MAS 5, Proton e.MAS 7, and Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV.

Compared to conventional ICE vehicles, the Proton e.MAS line-up offers a more cost-efficient ownership proposition, combining electric driving for daily commutes with savings in usage and maintenance costs.

In the East Coast, where many households are landed properties, home charging is more readily accessible, allowing owners to conveniently recharge overnight using standard AC charging at home. At an estimated rate of RM0.60 per kWh, the cost of a 100km journey is around RM7 for the Proton e.MAS 5 and about RM9 for the Proton e.MAS 7, compared to a conventional petrol vehicle which typically costs about RM16 and RM20 per 100km respectively for a similarly size car, making EV ownership a more cost-efficient option for everyday driving when evaluated on a like-for-like per 100km basis.

Proton e.MAS 7 Premium Plus Takes Centre Stage at Sunway Pyramid
At Sunway Pyramid, Subang Jaya (LG2, Orange Concourse) from 1 to 5 July, the roadshow expands into a comprehensive showcase featuring the full Proton e.MAS portfolio, including the newly launched Proton e.MAS 7 Premium Plus, providing visitors with a closer look at the latest advancements in range, comfort, and everyday usability.

Recently launched at KLIMS 2026, the Proton e.MAS 7 Premium Plus is the latest addition to the e.MAS 7 line-up, featuring a larger 68.39kWh AEGIS Short Blade Battery that delivers up to 450km of WLTP-rated range, with 115kW DC fast charging capability, enabling 30% to 80% charging in approximately 20 minutes, matching the charging time of the Premium variant despite its larger battery capacity.

New comfort enhancements include front massage seats and a powered passenger seat with leg rest. Alongside the broader Proton e.MAS 7 line-up, the Proton e.MAS 7 Premium Plus is currently offered with a RM7,000 special launch rebate, bringing the price down to RM118,800*, delivering stronger value and an enhanced EV ownership experience.
